This is one of the easy and light dish which will be ready in no time if you have all the items ready.  Previously I had posted Capsicum curry but using  coconut. Usually Coconut is the main ingredient for gravy but few don't prefer more coconut since it's heavy so here is a capsicum curry recipe without coconut in a different taste with a touch of daba style.

1. Capsicum - 3
2. Onion - 2
3. Tomato puree - from 3 big no's
4. Peanut - 2 table spoon
5. Chilly powder - 2 table spoon
6. Garam masala powder - 1 table spoon
7. Kasuri methi - 1/2 tea spoon
8. Curd - 1/2 cup
9. Oil - 4-5 table spoon
10. Jeera - 1 tablespoon

1. Add oil to the pan, once it is heated up add capsicum and onion and saute it until the onion turns golden brown.
2. Once it is done, transfer the fried onion and capsicum to a bowl.
3. In the same pan, add 2 tablespoon of oil and let it heat.
4. Once the oil is heated up, add jeera, tomato puree and let it cook for 3-4 minutes.
5. Add chilly powder, garam masala powder, salt according to your taste and allow it to cook for 2 minutes.
6. Once the water is evaporated and leaves out oil, add curd and adjust the taste by adding chilly powder, garam masala powder and salt.
7. Add roasted peanut powder and give it a good mix.
8. Add the fried onion and capsicum to the pan and allow it to cook for 4-5 minutes.
9. Add crushed kasuri methi at the end and mix well.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt while frying the onion and capsicum, so as to get it done quickly.
