CHOCO LAVA BOMB
Why not celebrate this diwali with a bomb which explodes in your mouth and fills your soul than the one which pollutes the environment. If you have a sweet tooth and loves choco lava cake like anything, then this choco lava bomb recipe is for you. Except that it is a bomb not a cake. This is really super easy and doesn’t consume more than half an hour.
Ingredients:
1. Flour/ Maida – 1/2 Cup
2. Powdered sugar – 1/2 Cup
3. Baking powder – 1/4 Tea spoon
4. Salt – pinch
5. Cocoa Powder – 3 Table spoon
6. Vanila Essence – 1 Tea spoon
7. Melted butter – 2-3 Table spoon
8. Milk – as needed
9. Dark chocolate – 1 bar
Procedure for making choco lava bomb:
First let’s see how to make the chocolate syrup to fill inside i.e., lava. You can also use lightly melted chocolate bar but this chocolate syrup makes a huge difference in taste.
1. Take chocolate bar in a bowl and add hot milk.
2. let the bar melt and make a thick consistency.
3. Keep 2 table spoon of syrup in a separate bowl and keep the rest of the syrup in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.
Now let’s start making the outer batter.
1. In a bowl, add maida, powdered sugar, baking powder, cocoa powder, salt, vanila essence, melted butter, above prepared chocolate syrup which you kept it aside and mix well.
2. Slowly add little milk and mix well.
3. Add as much milk is needed for it to be not so thick consistency.
4. Mix really well so that there is no lumps in the mixture.
5. Take the paddu pan/ appe pan and let it heat in a medium flame.
6. Half fill the pan with the above prepared mixture.
7. add 1 tea spoon of chocolate syrup which you prepared in the beginning.
8. Fill the pan to cover the chocolate syrup with the batter.
9. Cook both the side in a medium flame.
Serves: 3
Bomb explodes when it’s hot.
SECRET TIPS:
Make chocolate syrup consistency thicker than the batter so that, when it’s cooked outer batter solidifies and the lava inside melts.
