VERMICELLI PAYASA
Vermicelli payasa is the most common quick and easy recipe to make instantly. Also it requires very few ingredients like, vermicelli, milk, sugar and dry fruits.
Ingredients:
1. Vermicelli – 1/2 Cup
2. Milk – 1 Cup
3. Dry fruits
4. Sugar – 1 Cup
5. Cardamom – 2
6. Badam Powder – 3 Table spoon
Procedure for making vermicelli payasa:
1. Dry Roast vermicelli in a pan for 4-5 minutes and keep it aside.
2. In the same pan, for 1 cup of milk add 1/2 cup of water and let it simmer.
3. Once it starts boiling, add vermicelli.
4. When vermicelli is cooked, add sugar,cardamom, dry fruits and allow it cook for 10minutes.
5. Once it’s done, add badam powder and stir well.
Serves: 4
Tastes better when it’s hot.
SECRET TIPS:
Giving a nice fry to the vermicelli avoids it from becoming sticky.
