ALOO KURKURE
Feels like munching something crispy in the evening but not sure what to make?? Then here is a recipe of aloo kurkure which is made of aloo and suji/bombay rava. Aloo kurkure is unique and easy recipe which is best suited for Tea time. So let’s dive into the recipe.
Ingredients:
1. Suji/ Bombay rava – 1 cup
2. Potato – 1
3. Chilly flakes – 2-3 table spoon
4. Jeera – 2 table spoon
5. Coriander leaves – 2 table spoon
6. Salt
7. Rice flour – 2 table spoon
Procedure for making aloo kurkure:
1. In a pan, take 3 cups of water ( 3 times of suji) and let it boil.
2. Add jeera, chilly flakes and salt to it and give it a mix.
3. When it starts to boil, add suji while stirring simultaneously.
4. Let it cook until it holds a shape and set it off the stove.
5. Mean while, cook and mash the potato.
6. Add the mashed potato and rice flour to above prepared suji dough and give it a good mix.
7. Take a small ball of dough and roll it like a stick and cut it into small pieces.
8. Deep fry the pieces in hot oil until it turns to golden brown.
Serve it hot with tomato ketchup.
SECRET TIPS:
I have used home made chilly flakes so that taste has been enhanced. CHILLY FLAKES: Dry roast red chilly, jeera, garlic and coriander leaves and grind it coarsely. Store it in a dry air tight container for later use.
